Shopping with mama

Its been a long time ago since I do shopping with mama. We live in the same house but because of our tight schedule we usually see each other at night and I have not spend a chit chat with her for a couple of weeks of months ago.

Since hubby wants to stay home and car is not available today, I insist and still wants to go shopping. It is important to do my weekly grocery shopping because it is already

in my routine and I have to stock foods and buy important grocery items for the family. I am a work at home mom so I need to comply with my time management.

Thankfully my mama is available and she is also going to the supermarket. Before we go to the supermarket, I was able to pay my utility bills, and we have fun shopping sandals with discounts. After shopping at the department store, we went to Razon’s and ate Arroz caldo and Halo halo. From there we move to the supermarket where we bought our food stock including fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, and other important things.

I love being with the company of my mama. I am grateful that I still have her in my life. She taught me to be independent and she is always there for me when I need her most especially in times like this. In less than three months, I will be expecting a baby and as much as she wanted to have a vacation reunion to our province mama prefers to stay with me until I give birth. How sweet is that? Isn’t it? I love her so much and I will cherish all the wonderful things that she did for our family that I will also replicate to be doing for my family now.

It is true that we appreciate more the value of our own mothers when we are or about to become moms ourselves. Expecting my first born by April next year, yet my mom is already on top of the whole situation in preparing me for motherhood and its responsibilities.

This is an inspiring post. Keep writing!
