I was sick for the past few days and the main reason is my water intake. I remember that I was not taking enough water for the past weeks. Being very occupied at home and busy with my online work and blogs sometimes makes me forget to drink water. Approximately 90% of water is present in human body which shows that water plays an important role in our body. Water is very important because it cleanse, energize and keep our body active. I have blog about drinking enough water for a healthier you last year but I almost forgot it and now I need to remind myself.
Doctors recommend to drink eight 0r nine cups of water daily. I think that your water intake also depends on your daily activity and food intake. For example, if I eat too much sweets or salty foods I should be drinking more water so it can easily be absorb and flush out in our body. We also drink a lot of water when we have excessive physical activities like jogging or cleaning the house. It will replenish the water that was burnt out in those activities keeping us energize again.
Now I am conscious with my water intake. To keep my body healthy with the right amount of water daily I think of a way to get it rightly. The best way I believe is to drink a cup/glass of water before meals and after meals. Usually I ate small meals every three hours so that means I have four meals (including my merienda) daily. If I have four meals daily I can have a complete water intake of 8 glass/cups of water daily. Also I have read that if you sleep late then you should better drink an additional cup or glass of water.
